Polly is your symptom and pollen diary. You log how you feel, the app links it with local pollen data, and out of that comes a pattern you can bring to your doctor or allergist.

Pollen forecast
The pollen data comes from the German Weather Service
Polly shows up-to-date DWD figures for 8 pollen types and 27 regions in Germany. If you like, the app gives you a heads-up when pollen that coincides with your symptoms is in the air; that alert is optional.
Symptoms and analysis
After two to three weeks you can see your pattern
Morning and evening you rate your nose, eye and lung symptoms and log your medication. It takes about 30 seconds and is based on the EAACI CSMS used in clinical studies. Polly then uses rank correlation to work out which pollen coincides with your symptoms and frames the result honestly, including the statistical uncertainty. For the appointment with your allergist you can export your history as a PDF.
Polly is not a medical device and does not diagnose. What you see are statistical associations rather than causation, and the app does not replace a medical examination.
Privacy
Your health data stays on your iPhone
Your symptom and medication logs are stored only on your device. To fetch the forecast, the app asks the German Weather Service using your approximate region; we ourselves collect no data.
